1. What ProfessionalMeet is

ProfessionalMeet is a marketplace for curated professional events. Hosts list events, attendees request seats, sponsors apply for packages. Events are run by their hosts; we operate the platform, review listings before they go live, and are not a party to the agreement between you and a host or sponsor.

2. Your account

One account per person, and the profile details you provide (especially role and company) must be accurate; hosts rely on them to vet seat requests. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that provide false information, abuse the platform or harm other members.

3. Attendees

A seat request is binding once the host approves it. Ticket prices, if any, are shown before you request a seat and are settled with the host; the platform currently processes no payments. To other attendees you appear incognito (role, company, seniority, location); the host of an event you apply to sees your full request.

4. Hosts

You may list events under your own name or your company's. You are responsible for your event: accurate listing details, venue, execution, and compliance with applicable law. Every listing is reviewed before publication and we may reject or unpublish listings that do not meet our quality bar. Attendee data from seat requests may be used only to run your event, not for marketing.

5. Sponsors

Sponsorship applications are decided by the event's host. Pricing and deliverables are defined by the package you apply to; invoicing and fulfilment happen between you and the host.

6. Acceptable use

No spam, no scraping, no misrepresentation of identity or seniority, no reselling of seats, and no use of attendee or host data outside the platform's purpose.

7. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For simple negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the typical foreseeable damage. We are not liable for the conduct of hosts, attendees or sponsors, or for events not taking place.

8. Changes and termination

You can delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the platform in advance.

9. Governing law

German law applies. See also our Privacy Policy and imprint.
